यह कैसे हालात,
शोक मनाते लोग,
परिवार भंग हो रहे,
देश में फैला रोग।
How we got in this mess?
People strife with blue,
Families are getting destroyed,
Country is in a grip of flu!
नेता क्यूँ नपुंसक,
बैठे हाथ में डाले हाथ,
यह समाज कैसा,
जिसकी समझ नहीं आती बात।
Why leaders are impotent,
Sitting nonchalantly hand in hand,
What kind of culture is this,
Where no one seems to understand!
"शोक है हमें इस बात का",
कब तक यही दोहराएँगे,
बहुत हुआ अब बस करो,
क्या नया कुछ आज़माएँगे?

Till when will we spew?
I am tired, please stop this,
Will we try something new?
बहुत हुआ खून ख़राबा,
थोड़ी सी तो लाज करो,
इक्कीसवी सदी में जी रहे हम,
पन्द्रहवीं से इसे निजात करो।
Too much blood has been shed,
Disconcerted should we have been,
We are living in the twenty first century,
Please free it from the fifteenth!
