About
This is the demo site for System Halted, a Nord-palette Jekyll theme built for writers and developers who want a fast, accessible blog without wiring up a pile of services. Everything here runs as a static site: search is client-side (no server, no third-party index), the light/dark toggle remembers your choice, and posts are organized through a responsive card grid, categories, tags, and sortable archives. SEO tags, a sitemap, and an RSS feed are generated for you.
The posts on this site double as documentation — each one walks through a feature of the theme, from search to the Nord palette to writing with Markdown and code.
Making it yours: edit _config.yml to set your title, tagline, author, and
sidebar navigation. Group your categories into themed sections by editing
_data/taxonomy.yml. Drop posts in _posts/, add featured: true to surface a post
on the Featured page, and you’re publishing.
