Today in the morning after my wife and kids left for school, I switched on TV and opened YouTube and the first video that caught my attention was Anupam Kher's tribute to Nana Patekar.

Nana Patekar is no more. This came as a shock.

One of his films that has stayed with me is Prahaar - The Final Attack, which he both directed and acted in. There is a song in this film with these beautiful lines: 

धड़कन ज़रा रुक गई है, कहीं ज़िंदगी बह रही है

Today, these words have a different meaning. His heart has stopped beating. However, his life continues through his work, his characters and his memories.

Nana Patekar is no more but he will always remain alive in the hearts of those who admired him.
